![]() The fear of the Lord is a fountain of Life, to turn one away from the snares of death. Proverbs 14: 27 The Fear of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is an awesome reverence and respect towards God. Knowing that He is totally righteous, full of mercy and truth. Its compensating and rewarding obedient in faith, judging, chastening and lastly punishing the disobedient. What most people dont know is, that whatever you fear most, you will worship. There is no single aspect of the Christian life that carries with it a greater promise of blessing than to the man who walks in the fear of the Lord. The promises of the fear of the Lord will flow like a fountain of Life. Most people treat God like a friend. Well, yeah. He wants to be your friend too. But Some people think that having God as a friend is God's priviledge. Thinking that God needs YOU as a friend. But hey, God has the whole world as His friend. The whole entire world! Ask yourself, Does He need you? I've heard many stories, depicting God's love for us. But I liked this the most. Once there was this middle aged man, who had an 8year old son. This man loved his son so much, He decided to bring him out for a little bonding time in a fast food restaurant. So when they reached the fast food restaurant, the young boy ordered a Large packet of fries. After they got the fries, they sat down. The man, looking at his 8year old son enjoying his fries made him smile. Thus, he reached out to grab a piece, wanting to share the joy with his son. But his son immediately swept his hand away. Protective of his fries. He was surprised and said, "Son, I have all the money in the world to buy fries for myself, But I want to share this Joy with you." When I heard this story, I was touched and was reminded how much God loves us and how he wants to take time to spend it with us. Isn't it true? God has the whole world in His hands. But He wants to spend quality time with each and everyone of you. &He Loves us so much that He sent His precious son to come and save us, sinners. God loves us so much He wants to spend every second with you. Will you?
