True Friends
We are made for Friendships,
But a real friendship is never accidental, they are cultivated over time.
Friends are those who will help you to be wise.
Friends are part of our education, & how we learn.
Proverbs 13:20, "He who walks with Wise men will be wise,
but the companion of fools will be destroyed."
Do your friends help you make wise decisions?
Or lead you astray?
Do they bring our the best in your life?
As Iron sharpens Iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friends. Proverbs 27:17
True friends are those who will share your burdens.
A friend can be counted on in a crisis.
Galations 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."
A True Friend is somebody who sees you through when others let you down.
They are people who are not self-centered.
True Friends are not those who only look out for themselves.
True Friends are people who will help you grow spiritually.
We all need spiritual encouragement to grow.
True Friends will pray with us and lift us up, spiritually
and help us keep the course for the Lord.
Hebrews 10:24 - 25, "And let us consider one another in
order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling
of ourselves together, as in the manner of some, but exhorting one
another, and another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
Pursue Friendship with people who know God, and
have a strong relationship with Him.
True Friends are not just people to socialize with and have fun with,
they help us grow in God.
They pray with us when we are discouraged, they stand by us.
They guide us and do good for the glory of God.
Life is full of people who will make you laugh, cry, smile till your
face hurts and sooo happy that you think you'll burst.
But the ones who leave their footprints on your soul are the ones
who keep your life going.
A True friends' friendship is like the sun coming up each morning, its something I can count on to warm up my whole world &brighten up my Life.
I'm sorry if I have hurt you,
But I have tried my best to be a True Friend.
I have put in my best into our Friendship.
Its like a beautiful web, but
Right now I'm stuck and I want to get out.
